The Partnership Group assists organizations like the Federation of Calgary Communities, community associations, sports teams, charities and non-profits by developing, enhancing or assessing sponsorship programs. They work directly with each client to satisfy their individual needs and objectives in the area of sponsorship. This may be inventory development, package building, mentoring, coaching or implementation of the Partnership Group fulfillment management system.
The role of the Partnership Group with the Federation of Calgary Communities was to review the entire organization from a potential sponsorship perspective and determine what benefits or recognition was available that could be sold. This inventory of items was then catalogued, valued at fair market value and then fulfillment delivery costs were established for each benefit to ensure that there were no cost overruns for sponsorship packages. Once all this was established, the Partnership Group then built the stock sponsorship sales packages. Over 40 different packages were developed ranging from gala to AGM sponsor packages, from overall association packages to official supplier packages. The additional role of the Partnership Group has been to work with the staff and specifically the Development Officer, Phyllis Snider to coach and mentor her on sponsorship sales. The process has included working one on one with Phyllis to develop prospect target lists, to make discovery or introduction calls to prospective sponsors, to custom build sales packages and to assist in closing new revenues for the Federation of Calgary Communities.
The Partnership Group is excited about the success that it has been part of with the Federation of Calgary Communities in growing additional new revenues to the organization and looks forward to working with the individual community associations to assist them in generating additional sponsorship revenues for their events and programs.
